TLYC distributes news and informationbin several ways.

There are two facebook pages. One page is an admin post only page, which was designed to link with thos website/ webpage and provide news. Unfortunately, we havent kept up with the changes in the facebook scripts so this page you are on now, is not updated automatically anymore. There is another page on Facebook where members can post. There were a lot of junk posts so now, all posts must be approved by an admin.

FB MESSENGER similar to Viber below, but not as active.

VIBER – we now mostly use viber as a means to disseminate information to members and friends. Mostly, the thrust of the news is about weather and events, and recent pictures of the club and what is going on. There is a fair bit of banter about club affairs, events, events at other clubs, and general sailing news that may be of interest to club members. If you want to be added, come to the club, get to know us, and ask to be added. Do not post news that is irrelevant to the club, political views , or try to sell items or services. That will get you banned.

The Hobie News- A Yahoo group newsletter. This was our monthly newsletter in days gone by, but although we still occasionally use it, we have generally switched to the more interactive Viber group above.
