There are some negatives to this boat.
The hulls have some blisterinh in the Fiberglass/gelcoat. Blistering is bad if the boat wil be kept in the water for long periods of time, because over months, water can get into the void, but since its normally out of the water, its not a real problem. It has been like this for years, and I have won a lot of races with it like this so it doesnt affect performance. Its only noticeable if you point it out.,the other problem is the tiler extension. Its an expensive “Battlestick” model but it splintered and when repaired {the white part), it no longer contracts. When siling Hobies, you will break tiller extensions. Everybody does, Not breaking them comes with a lot of practice.
