TLYC has a Learn to Sail Program. https://tlyc.com/sailing-lessons-tlyc/ The program is designed to guide people who want to learn to sail, and are willing to spend time learning how to sail, to eventually take friends out, either on our rental boats, or on a boat of their own.

TLYC offers a “Sailing Experience”. We call it “Intro to sailing” Take a sailboat ride for an hour or two, with up to three Adult friends or family, and one of our instructors. We can take out as many as three boats at a time. We hope you like it, and we hope you decide to come back and take lessons. This is popular with friends, Family, and Corporate team building. Its quite a bit like a first sailing lesson. Everyone will get to drive the boat, under the coaching of an instructor.

TLYC has an active cruising and racing program for those who have taken our basic sailing classes, want to improve their skills, learn more about sailing, and meet other members of the club. Members who already know how to sail, come down and race their boats on Second Sundays (Oz Goose) and 4th Sundays (Hobie cats) with an open bar after racing.

TLYC has sailboats for rent. We rent boats out to both members and non members, either with, or without instructors.

TLYC has a rescue service to support people who may want to take their own boats out, but they know they might not be able to handle the weather, or they are testing a boat that maybe they just bought.

TLYC has a boatramp that can be used to launch sailboats.

TLYC has instructors who can provide coaching or crewing, by the hour.
